SCP-3272-1 is to be blocked from all inhabitants of Roanoke Island, under the guise of a “termite problem”. One (1) active Scrantron Reality Anchor is to be present. Only on-site faculty with Level-3 access or higher are allowed to study SCP-3272-1 through SCP-3272-3.

All non-faculty individuals retaining information gained by SCP-3272-3 are to be administered Class-A amnestics and temporarily relocated off the island until an “all-clear”¹ is called. As of yet, SCP-3272-3 is uncontainable.

Description

SCP-3272-1 is a radio tower that is approximately eighteen (18) meters in height. SCP-3272-1 is disguised as a member of Pinus virginiania (Virginia pine) with the word “Croatoan” carved into the “trunk.” SCP-3272-1 transmits an anomalous radio frequency that has been classified as SCP-3272-3.

SCP-3272-2 is a biological material that encompasses SCP-3272-1. The material has yet to be identified. See Addendum 3272-02

SCP-3272-3 is a radio frequency that emanates from SCP-3272-1 broadcasting between the hours of 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. SCP-3272-3 affects all radios on Roanoke Island. The contents of SCP-3272-3 consists of emergency alerts, warnings, and reports concerning unknown XK-class end-of-the-world scenarios.

Addendum 3272-01: Discovery
SCP-3272 was first discovered in ██/█/197█ when a local news outlet published an article titled “Mysterious Broadcast Plagues Island.” Class-A amnestics were immediately administered to all citizens currently populating Roanoke, and were immediately relocated off-shore until personnel successfully located SCP-3272-1.

Addendum 3272-02: SCP-3272-2 Sample Identification
On █/█/197█, seven (7) samples of SCP-3272-2 were taken for examination. SCP-3272-2 was examined to possess a similar chemical composition to SCP-148. Alongside this, three (3) species of fungi were discovered, one of which was identified as a non-lethal subspecies of SCP-020.
